SONY ILCE-7M4
On paper it’s the perfect hybrid Full-Frame camera. Excellent Autofocus, it can shoot 33mp raw photos (just enough to crop in a bit) and can shoot 4K 24/30 in 10bit (prefered frame rates).
-

SONY 14mm F/1.8 GM
Ultra Wide Prime, it was my least used lens, originally purchased to shoot vlogs, but I repurposed it by using it as my main lens for shooting in the XPAN aspect ratio and for astrophotography.
-

SONY 24mm F/1.4 GM
“The Everyday Lens” it quickly became my most used focal length for documenting my personal life, the one I would choose if I was just hanging out, it’s the closest focal length to the main camera on every current smartphone, making it the easiest to shoot and adapt to.
-

SONY 35mm F/1.4 GM
“Bread & Butter Lens” My absolute favorite focal length, this would be the 1st of 4 lenses I own that cover this focal range. The perfect street lens, this is the one you use when you seek balance in your composition, wide but not too wide.
-

SIGMA 35mm F/1.2 DG II
Take the best focal length and make it better. That’s exactly what Sigma did, unfortunately Sony does not make a f/1.2 version of this nigh perfect lens. Everything about it is practically flawless.
-

SONY 50mm F/1.2 GM
Take the most boring focal length, “The Nifty Fifty” and give it the best optics that lens engineers can create and you have this lens. The images I’ve captured with this lens are ethereal, and it will forever have a place in my camera bag
-

SONY 16mm-35mm F/2.8 GM II
A great alternative to my 14mm when i don’t need the low light and don’t need to go as wide, the optics of this zoom are pretty much on par with any prime in this zoom range and covers my favorite focal lengths (24/28/35)
-

SONY 24mm-70mm F/2.8 GM II
“The One & Done Lens” This is what most photographers would say should be the first lens you should purchase, as it cover all popular focal lengths, and I would agree, use it enough and eventually you’ll find which focal length you use the most which will help you choose your first prime lens afterwards. On the flip side, it’s also considered the most boring, I’ve owned and sold the first generation Sigma version of this lens, highly recommended.
-

SONY 70mm-200mm F/2.8 GM II
Unless Sony or Sigma release an 85mm F/1.2, this is my go to lens if i want compression and background separation.
Filmmaking kit
-

ZV-E1
Shares the same sensor as the FX3 but at a fraction of the cost, really wished it had a cfexpress type a instead of just an SD card slot, but not much to complain about, I don’t shoot for hours at a time, so I was never concerned about overheating.
-

DJI Action 4
I got this for a really great deal, its currently 2 generations old, but I still haven’t been compelled buy any of the newer Action Cameras to upgrade. This is a great camera for POV videos.
-

DJI Mini 3 Pro
Bought this drone because it fell under 250g which made traveling with it a no brainer, unfortunately due to new laws and regulations domestically and abroad, I barely take it with me anywhere. I’ll probably upgrade once I get my Part 107 Certification.
-

DJI Mic 2
High Quality Wireless Microphones, perfect for vlogging and documenting
-

DJI Mic 2 MI Shoe Camera Adapter
Absolute game changing adapter that basically makes the use of audio cables a thing of the past.
-

DJI Lavalier Microphone
High-quality recording, compact and easily concealable, makes recording videos a bit more seamless, and adds a level of discreteness to make your videos more immersive.

-

Shimoda Designs Urban Explore Backpack (Anthracite, 30L)
This is the closest i found to “The Perfect Camera Bag”, With this i am able to carry my Sony f/2.8 GM II Trinity, Teleconverter, three prime lenses (14/35/50), my camera, action 4, portable charger, straps and accessories.
-

Peak Design Everyday Sling (Black, 6L)
Basically got this for a more simple 1 camera 2 lens setup.
-

GoPro Chest Mount
POV mount for Action 4
-

Peak Design Aluminum Tripod
Solo Traveler’s Best Friend. I have used and abused this tripod; having that lifetime warranty does give you true peace of mind when purchasing a product this expensive, although i wished it was lighter, the form factor ultimately earned its place in my camera bag.
-

Silence Corner Mambapod
New favorite travel tripod; The versatility of this mini tripod has earned a permanent place in my bag. For places that “Prohibit“ Tripods, this is a fantastic alternative as it hooks & clamps.
-

Silence Corner Atoll S+ Rotating Camera Collar
I hate using L-Brackets and cages in my camera, this low profile attachment has a built in arca swiss plate which i used to mount to my tripods and camera straps.
-

Falcam F38 Quick Release Basic Bundle
I still own the Peak Design camera clip v2, but honestly, this system is just better in every sense of the word. essentially compatible with almost every arca swiss plate, making it more accessible to different brands.

Paired with the Falcam F38 Quick Release Buckle Base for Shoulder Strap V2, and you get have the best camera strap You’ll ever use and nothing will ever come close; for now.
-

Peak Design Cuff (Carryology)
Since I have the Atoll Rotating Collar on my Sony, I use this Cuff for added security and protection.
-

Godox iT32 TTL Mini Flash & Godox X5S
My first camera flash, very intuitive and easy to use, the hot shoe adapter mount allows for wireless experience
-

Tiffen Black Pro-Mist Filter (Grade 1/8)
I love halation this filter provides, the soft glow gives your photos under the right lighting conditions that ethereal look; I really only use this on my 50mm f/1.2 to reduce the perfect optics of this lens, and give it that so called “character”
-

NiSi True Color ND-VARIO Pro Nano Variable ND Filter (1-5 Stops)
Best VND, little to no color loss/shift. necessary when shooting wide open.
Essentially Sunglasses for your lens.
